Rockaway Beach House

Welcome to our Rockaway beach cabin. We are located in a small and quiet neighborhood with all the quaint amenities you needAbout a 3-5 min walk to gain access to the beach. NO PETS ALLOWED without approval. Relax and enjoy the Roku streaming and your favorite apps . VCR does not work. Kids will love the loft area upstairs where they can create lasting memories and parents will love the beautiful porch to grill and relax with a built in bench. The space The house offers one large three-seater couch, a large bean bag that can fit up to 2 adults and a child bean bag chair. Theres also a children's snack/writing table. We also provide infant/toddler toys and some can be found in the shed next to the cabin. There’s a pack and a play and an infant swing. Children's books are also available for use, please do not take home. There is a large TV with options and a considerable DVD collection. WiFi is available throughout the house. Roku is available to stream all your favorite shows from popular apps like Netflix and Hulu and more. There is a table available and chairs under the shed for outdoor dining during warm weather. The upstairs has lowered ceilings, loft style, so please watch your step and head. Adults will not be able to stand upright. You will have to bend over a bit to walk around upstairs. Kids love the upstairs area. Windows are available upstairs for a breeze and fresh air. Heaters upstairs are also available. The air conditioner is located upstairs where it can get stuffy during warm weather. There is no air conditioning downstairs. Open the windows do cool breeze to cool down the cabin if necessarry. Plenty of blankets and extra linens and pillows. Downstairs bedroom leads out to the back patio and offers a great morning view. Recently upgraded queen mattress in the downstairs bedroom. Claw foot tub in the bathroom, great for warm baths or quick showers. All amenities included, just ask if we have it. Please also note that in Rockaway Beach, sugar ants can smell cookies, spilled sugar or syrup, or an open sugar container from a mile away and will find a way in through a windowsill or door frame. It can be somewhat like a cartoon picnic where they march in a line to find the food. To avoid this try to keep your snacks contained in air tight baggies, the refrigerator, or buy single serve packets and put the trash in the outdoor trash cans as soon as possible. Guest access The whole house is yours to use. Feel free to make yourself at home and we truly hope you enjoy the beach and all it has to offer. Parking is on the left side of the house where it looks like a garage. Also can park in front of the house as needed. Other things to note The hose to wash sand off is on the left (If you are looking straight at the front door) side of the house past the side bushes. The upstairs is a loft style area with lowered ceilings so please watch your step and head. Also, the beds are mattresses on the floor with no bed post to save space and make it comfortable. Pictures reflect exactly what the upstairs looks like. Dryer is not in service at this time. We do our best to control them with traps and spray around the house, but some do escape our defense. Our beach house is rustic and quirky, please ask any clarifying questions you may have.
