Other things to note GOOD TO KNOW Our building is located a step away from Prague’s magical Old Town. This area is a UNESCO-protected area. It makes the apartment an ideal base for exploring the city entirely on foot, without needing public transport. As part of heritage preservation, it is not allowed to modify the building’s exterior to save its authentic look and atmosphere, so there is no air conditioning. However, fans are provided for your comfort and convenience. Prague is known as one of the most beautiful and safest cities in the world. You’ll feel relaxed and welcome here. Just a couple of tips to help you enjoy your stay: ✔️ Currency: The Czech Republic uses Czech crowns (CZK). Please avoid changing money on the street or at exchange offices without asking about commission - some charge up to 20%. Safer options: withdraw directly from an ATM or pay by card in most places. ✔️ Taxis: It’s best to avoid hailing taxis on the street (especially yellow ones), as they are often overpriced. Recommended: Instead, use the Uber or Bolt apps. These allow even cash payments if selected in the app settings. ✔️ Legal Notice: In accordance with Czech legislation, all accommodation providers are obliged to report non-Czech guests to the Foreign Police. For this reason, all guests (including Czech citizens) must fill out a brief registration form at check-in. This form also serves as an official guest book required by the City Hall.
