Living room has vaulted ceiling with HD projector, surround sound, and screen with cozy couches and dining table. Expansive area for the kids to roll around. Wood burning fireplace and central heat/ac, your choice. Master bedroom has king-size Casper bed with blackout curtains for sleeping in and available Danish-style crib for infants and babies. Daybed in living room for additional sleeper. Spa-like large bathroom with big tub and shower room with tiled bench and rain head. Steam it up and lounge away. Expansive kitchen with handmade cabinetry and ceramic vessels includes electric range stove, double sink, Instant Pot, toaster, and all common utensils and cooking aids. No oven, no microwave. Wooden high chair for a baby. Large fridge with cold drinking water dispenser and ice machine. Lots of windows throughout providing lots of natural light, as well as blinds to tame the sun. Turntable in the living room and ample Wifi for streaming and remote work. The exterior is 5 acres that includes a chofu tub, a sandbox for children, a picnic table, ample seating, a walking trail and a communal log table under a pergola. This is a home of two artists and their daughter, Luna. We began working on our home two years before our daughter was born here in Joshua Tree, and we've been adding things along the way. It's full of character and we've spent so much time slowly working to make it lovely and unique. We ask our guests to respect the space, the land, and the neighbors who value the calm and quiet. We unfortunately cannot host pets due to allergies. We're very accommodating and chill and happy to help with recommendations and answer any questions that come up. Absolutely no parties inside the house or outside on the property; although our neighbors seem far, voices carry in the desert. Please be respectful of quiet hours in Joshua Tree, no noise after 10 pm. Also please be advised of Fire Safety Regulations in Joshua Tree (no outdoor fires in pit)/ ALL outdoor fires are prohibited when winds exceed 10 mph (this includes grilling). Guest access Decently maintained dirt road for the last mile. We'll provide the best route to confirmed guests. Map apps often lead people to the one road that is overly sandy, so please follow the directions we provide. Ample parking in front or back. Everything is safe and secure in/around our neighborhood.
