Description
Fully restored 17th century Cornish cottage to the highest of specifications. Our building was once the 'fish cellars' for the village where they salted pilchards and is now 5 fabulous cottages. Extremely comfortable, 50 steps from the beach, 10mins from the pub and 15 mins from Waitrose(!) The sun sets directly in front of the balcony - it's magical! We have underground parking for 1 car and more parking is available nearby at a car park. Underfloor heating throughout, it’s warm and cosy. The space The property is spread across 3 floors, you can enter through the underground parking straight into the snug/den with TV, XBox, and fusball table and a comfortable sofa bed which makes the 4th bedroom if needed. It also benefits from a separate loo and steam shower. Off this room is the laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. This is a great place for kids to hang out. On the middle floor are 2 large bedrooms with en-suites and this is where the main front door is. On the top floor (to take advantage of the views) are a stunning open plan living space with a balcony with dining table and 6 chairs (there are bar stools in kitchen which you could take out there) Extremely well fitted out kitchen and dining area (table and also breakfast bar with stools) as well as a TV area with freeview, netflix. Off this area is the bunk room with bunk beds. This is suitable for children and has under bed storage. Note there is no bathroom on the top floor, only the en-suites on the middle and a full bathroom next to the den The house is extremely well insulated with underground heating throughout, you will not be cold here and there are no drafts! To access property you will be emailed a code to enter the communal area. There you will find key boxes, a separate code will open the key box which will contain the fob for the automatic car park gate and also the key for 3 Fish Cellars The car park is tight and it is recommended that you reverse into bay 3. We regularly park an SUV - any concerns please get in touch prior to booking Other things to note No parties, stag or hen do’s. Minimum age of lead booker 21 This property may not be suitable for those with mobility issues, please contact us prior to booking if you have any questions or concerns Underground parking space (height restriction but can fit 4 x 4) call if you have concerns and further parking for additional cars in a pay and display car park which only takes coins due to Portwrinkle having poor phone signal The car park is a very short way from the house (50m) due to air bnb rules we cannot post a link here but search Portwrinkle Car Park for information Fibre to the House wifi Dog friendly holiday home, maximum of two dogs. It is a very short walk to an area where they can toilet. Dogs are also not permitted to be left in the property alone to ensure quiet enjoyment for all guests staying on site. Please ensure you bring essentials with you as the local shop is not 24/7. We provide some kitchen cleaner, cloths, dishwasher and washing machine tablets, all bathrooms have hand soap and bathroom tissue. In the kitchen you will find tea, coffee, sugar but we do not provide milk or breakfast items.
