Fyroes

The old stony ''Mitatos'' was built around the year of 1830 , ''Mitatos''is called the remote residence of the local people who were occupied with agriculture and stock-farming. The space It is located on a quiet and remote corner on the southwest of of the island ,around 25 kilometres away form the port of Naxos. The house is surrounded with cedars , a local aegean and mediterranean tree and a small olive grove, while the property holds a small unit of goats , sheeps and chickens . Our family lived there for over 5 generations. The ''Mitatos'' has been configured into two autonomous rooms which can easily accommodate two to four people each .
