Spend the day exploring the deep canyons of Capital Reef National Park then watch the sunset relaxing on the deck overlooking the domes and cliffs of the park. Perched on a small tongue of land above Sand Creek enjoy the limitless views. The space The beautiful views from the brand new wrap around deck, the upper deck, the kitchen and bedroom windows is what makes our space absolutely magnificent. The cabin itself is quaint, cozy and comfortable! Guest access You will be able to walk to the center of town off the point of the property which is about 1 mile. Capital Reef National Park is approximately 10 miles from home. There is also some hiking and biking you can do from the house. The parking is easy going up the hill to the cabin and you can park in the garage. Other things to note There is the original kitchen which means there is not a dishwasher as of yet. However, the view from the kitchen window makes doing the dishes a joy. The warmth of the cabin, if the weather is cold, comes from a wood stove that you are able to use when it seems fitting. There is also a large fire pit outside that is fun for the evenings. There is wifi and cell service, but be for-warned that AT&T works well from the cabin, other phone plans not so well. There is shampoo, body wash, hair dryer, towels, and most of the kitchen essentials necessary for preparing a magnificent breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. There is a brand new barbecue set up near the front deck and fire pit. On the upper east deck there are 4 chairs and a couple of tables where you can sit and watch the sunrise and/or sunset. This house is not as famous for the home itself, but is completely famous for the views from the house and 5 acres it sits on. Many locals have made the comment that the home is on the best piece of property in the area. Of course Kevin and I agree.
