Listing 2 of 2 in residential house. Please ensure you are reserving the correct room configuration for your needs - this is the DOUBLE ROOM ONLY. Guest accommodation on ground floor bedroom and private bathroom with over bath shower located adjacent to guest rooms. Self-service continental style breakfast. Some special dietary requests can be accommodated if advised at booking. Bike friendly (some off road parking). Ideal location for costal hikes. No smoking property. The space Number 17 is located just 4 miles and minutes away from the airport and minutes away on foot to the town centre. A gentle stroll on the flat takes you to the start of the Southern 100 start line and paddock during race season. Similarly a short walk to the towns beach and picturesque harbour nestling in the shadow of the famous Castle and overlooked by the iconic 'Gluey' pub (The Castle Arms) - a favourite with locals and visitors alike. Minutes away from spectacular coastal walks. No smoking property. We regret NOT pet friendly due to allergies. Guest access You are welcome when weather permits to enjoy the small, well maintained garden at the rear of the house, enjoying an alfresco continental style breakfast on the patio areas or perhaps an aperitif before going out to dine or a nightcap enjoying the remains of the day before a comfortable nights sleep. The 2 guest rooms are located off the small dining area on the ground floor and share a small but functional and spotlessly clean bathroom with a step up and over bath shower. When either room is booked the other is blocked so that guests have exclusive use of the bathroom facilities which whilst not en suite are directly adjacent to either room. Both rooms can be booked for a single booking party (like families/friends). Guests are welcome to enjoy communal access to the lounge area which has a cosy feel in the winter when the stove is lit and a sunny aspect with patio doors leading on the garden during the sunny season. Guests have communal access to kitchen and are welcome to make tea and coffee during their stay, we regret the kitchen is no longer available for food preparation. However, guests may use fridge for food storage to be consumed off the property. Whilst a bungalow there is 1 step up into the building at the front of the property (which can be noted in photos) and a deeper step at the back door and patio exits which regrettably means the property is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with restricted mobility. During your stay Hosts live on site and will happily advise guests on how to make the most of their stay. Please refer to house rules. Other things to note This is the DOUBLE room booking. It has one double bed and is suitable for a maximum of 2 people but available for single occupancy at the quoted daily rate. The TWIN listing is more economical for the solo traveler. It is possible to book both rooms to service up to 4 guests in total who will then share the bathroom facilities. There are 2 separate listings to cater to this. The host only book one room out at a time so that guests have exclusive use of the bathroom facilities, if both rooms are required please reach out to the host prior to booking.
