Close to the small, but vibrant market town of Lassay Les Chateaux, a visit to the 14th C chateau, and local boulangeries is essential. With the Musee de Cidre on your doorstep, there is plenty to see and do. The space Enter Bank Cottage through the Wisteria-surrounded front door, and step into the cosy oak-beamed room which houses the kitchenette and relaxing lounge area, where you can unwind by the blazing log burner. Ascend the stairs in the corner of the room to find the en-suite double bedroom with comfortable and chic French Rococo-style bed. Guest access Parking is plentiful, as the graveled car park is next to Bank Cottage. The village of Niort La Fontaine provides many opportunities for beautiful, countryside walks and drives. Other things to note Next to the property is a fair-sized garden and gold fish-filled pond that is available to use. There is a barbecue for guests' use, and charcoal can be provided by the host at a small cost. The first basketful of logs for the wood burner will be provided free of charge, and can thereafter be purchased from the host.
