Old Town Escape is located in Old Town Florence, just 4 blocks to Bay Street and 6 to the marina. There you will find many of Florence's fine restaurants, charming shops and galleries. Stroll along the boardwalk and take in the sights of the Siuslaw River and the beautiful Oregon dunes. Perfect get away spot for an individual, a couple or 2 couples. We look forward to hosting you! Please keep in mind the beach is 4 miles from this residence so we are not a beach front property. The space Our 1600 square foot, beach-themed home has plenty of room for you to spread out and relax. Each bedroom has a comfy queen size bed with the master having its own bathroom. Read in the sun room, cook in the full size kitchen, eat at the family style dining table that seats 4 or finish up your business in the den. There is a completely fenced in backyard for privacy and a second driveway for off street parking for your boat or ATV’s. It is set up for all your needs. Just south of town, the beautiful Oregon sand dunes await. You can rent dune buggies or take a professionally guided tour. Florence has over 20 lakes and streams to fish and boat. Don't forget, north of town sits the iconic Heceta Head Lighthouse and beach area plus the popular Sea Lion Caves. For nature lovers, there are numerous hiking trails at various difficulties to satisfy. Explore all of what the Oregon coast has to offer. For the golfing enthusiasts, hit the links at several one-of-a-kind courses along the coast line. There is something for everyone. Guest access You will have full access to the house, garage and yard. The garage contains 4 bikes and helmets, crab pots, beach mats and extra cleaning supplies. Those are basically for us but they are available, just in case. We store our BBQ and utensils there and patio furniture which can easily be moved to the backyard. We also have a landscaping service and they have our permission during normal business hours to perform the work that needs done and that we contracted them to do. Sorry for any inconvenience with this service but it’s necessary. If we’re told in advance when they are coming, we will let you know. Other things to note Guests can bring a small dog under 50 lbs but you must keep them off the furniture and beds. Self check-in with a keyless locking system at the front door. Upon your departure, we would appreciate you stripping the bed(s) and placing the sheets and used towels in the laundry basket on the dryer.
