Unique 19th-century valley-style cottage centrally located by the river and nice beach/jogging loop, only 800 meters from the city center/Vasa Race finish. Totally renovated, bright, tastefully decorated. 25 sqm with sleeping loft. 160 cm wide bed overlooking the river. Entrance floor: toilet with mirror & shower. Seating for 2 people, kitchenette, small fridge, microwave, sink. Jura coffee machine, kettle, simple utensils. Ladder separates the entrance floor from the loft. Accommodation for 1-2 people. The water heater is suitable for a short shower The space The accommodation is a valley-style cottage from the 19th century that is totally tasteful and modernly renovated inside based on "Compact" Living as the interior surface is 25 sqm including loft where the bed is located. The bed is 2X80, a total of 160 cm and overlooks the river. Air conditioning is available. The stairs up to the loft are preserved from the 1800s. The small bathroom has a towel heater, toilet, mirror and a shower with a water heater that is also small. In the small kitchenette, there is a sink, microwave, toaster, egg cooker and a small refrigerator with a smaller freezer compartment. The dining area is high with bar stools overlooking the river and Mora. There is a Jura espresso machine that makes very good coffee. The entrance door is basically original and small (see picture) and equipped with a code lock. The patio at the entrance is equipped with tables, chairs and a hammock as well as a grill. The patio offers evening sun, nice views of the river's beach and a farm from the 30s. Mora city center, the clock tower, the Vasa Race finish line, the Zorn Museum, the Vasa Race arena and Mora camping 800m-1km away. Cleaning is not included, no pets. Bed linen with towel available for purchase for SEK 250/person. Guest access The unique Dala-style lodging overlooks the river in a residential area with walking distance to central Mora, Zorn Museum and proximity to the Vasa Race Museum, Vasa Race Goal. Vasaloppet arena for skiing, running and cycling is a short walk away. 30 meters from the hostel are Mora Tennis Club's outdoor courts. Mora Golf Club is a few kilometers by car and one of the holes can be reached in a 2-minute walk. Nice running terrain or hiking 7 km along the river and Ors Orsasjön where the start/finish is at the hostel. 30 meters from the hostel, there is a sandy beach and a jetty for swimming in the river. Tomteland is about 15 kilometers away and is worth a visit, and Grönklitt's ski resort is 30 minutes by car. Siljan is located within walking distance to the swimming area/Saxviken, the swimming area/ship house bay at Mora park, the swimming area Mora camping or Kråkberg - Orsasjön 2 km. Other things to note The cottage is compact living and the water heater works for short showers. There is parking space for max 2 cars that belong to the accommodation. Guests clean before departure, cleaning is not included. You leave the house as it was when you arrived! Bed linens and towels are not included but can be rented for a fee of SEK 250/person. Warm storage is available for storing skis.
