Olivetto Stanthorpe

Olivetto is your country home away from home. Set 10km north of Stanthorpe amongst the productive apple orchards of Thulimbah, Olivetto is a beautiful 100 year old cottage that has been lovingly restored with a modern take on a traditional farmhouse feel. The space Olivetto sits on a 13 acre property with a mix of mown, park-like open grassy areas, planted fruit and olive trees, natural pine groves and lovely, untouched rocky outcrops with the granite boulders that the area is so famous for. As well as wildflowers and beautiful native trees, you might spot kangaroos, heaps of birdlife like lorikeets, cockatoos, ducks or our family of friendly magpies (they don’t swoop because we all have enough space and we are friends). You might even be lucky enough to see our gorgeous echidna waddling around! We ask that you to be kind to, and respectful of, the environment and its inhabitants during your stay. Children and pets should NEVER be allowed to chase the wildlife. We are visiting their environment, afterall. Guest access Situated 10 minutes north of town, and only an easy 2.5 hours drive from Brisbane, we are a great base for your Stanthorpe holiday! Around us we have several 5 star wineries, Stanthorpe Cheese, Vincenzo’s café and deli at the Big Apple, Sutton’s Apples (hot tip: get the pie!), pick-your-own orchards, walking trails, Sam’s Fruit Shop, Truffle Discovery Centre, Christmas Farm and Granite Belt Maze all within a 5-10 minute drive from us. Venture south of Stanthorpe on Day Two for more wineries, antique shops and cafes and restaurants. Other things to note Pets are allowed with prior approval. Please advise size and type of pet when making your booking. You will have noticed in the photos that, although the property is fenced with rural wire fencing and gates, the house block itself isn’t fenced. If your pup stays close to you it won’t be a problem. We just want you to know so you’re 100% happy. We have a baby gate that can be placed across the front verandah if required. We respectfully ask that animals do not sleep in the people beds, and couch covers are provided, if required. We ask this to keep Olivetto in tip top shape for all of our lovely guests.
