Welcome to Nothin' Fancy! If you are looking for a basic place to rest, this is an option. Think about this place as one step up from camping. It is behind our main house. We have a full bed, kitchen, and bathroom in a 400-foot space. We’re about 20 minutes away from Chatt. We are animal friendly for a small pet fee. We also have dogs/cats; you may hear them outside. The house has no internet or tv, but we do have cell service. AC window unit only. Only book if old and basic works for you. You are in the country setting of Rock Spring. Our place is a great option to sleep for a day or two. This is well loved and imperfect. Please do not expect anything luxurious. Read the description. We don’t want negative reviews based off high and unrealistic expectations when we are offering an older, rustic space. There is no living area, just a bed. There is a small bed, small bathroom, and kitchen. The guest house is behind our main home, but we ensure privacy. We also welcome animals; we have a fenced area where they can run, but please don't leave them unsupervised. We also have animals, so make sure they are leashed in the yard. Please do not allow animals on beds. We can provide pet beds if needed. Because we have vintage sinks and cannot find a part for one, there is no hot water turned on in the bathroom sink only. We turned it off. You can turn it on if you need. There is hot water everywhere else. You can park in front of the cottage. There is plenty of parking. The area is big enough for trailers and large vehicles. Let us know if you need anything during your stay. You will see an old White House. The guest house is behind it. Park close to the guest house for easy access. The shower may be slippery, so use caution. You may even consider using gripped shower shoes.
