Tuscan Style Home in the Country

Tuscan style home on ten acres in Powell Butte, centrally located between Bend, Redmond and Prineville. Your comfortable 1,000 square foot suite has its own private entrance. Inside is a living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Enjoy morning coffee or BBQ on the paver patio with Cascade mountain views from Mt. Bachelor to Mt. Jefferson. Stroll across the expansive lawn to our big pond with largemouth bass for the fisher person. This is a very pretty, peaceful and secure setting. The space Our home is in a beautiful area in the country featuring green vistas and great mountain views. The landscaping features a wide variety of flowers and trees. This home is constructed of insulated concrete forms (which is VERY well insulated). Solar energy provides our electricity and hot water. We have in-floor heating which is a very comfortable type of heat. The kitchen comes fully stocked with cookware, dishes and utensils. It has a full size refrigerator, stovetop, dishwasher, convection microwave, toaster and a Keurig coffee maker. A continental style breakfast with things like yogurt, bagels and fruit is supplied to get you going in the morning. The space contains a LCR/HD smartTV, free Netflix and Prime Video, high speed Wi-Fi, along with a DVD/VCR player. A library of classic videos is also provided. If you like wildlife, this place is a wildlife mecca. My wife and I have recorded over 150 different species of wild birds on our land. If you like to fish, bring your rod, you are welcome to fish our pond. Spring and summer can be very good fishing for large mouth bass up to 6 pounds. A drift boat is available (May-Oct) for fishing or just rowing exercise at no charge. Guest access The entire suite is available. The suite is a completely separate living space from our main house to give you privacy. You will be able to drive within a few feet of the door to your suite to unload luggage and climb no stairs. Other things to note Easy 10 miles to Deschutes County Fairgrounds/Redmond Airport, 11 miles to Brasada Ranch, and only 1.5 miles to the Powell Butte Country Store/Gas Station and County Line Coffee. We do not have air conditioning, but the home is constructed of injected concrete foam and is very well insulated. Opening windows at night will keep the area cool all day long. There are two dog kennels in shaded areas for pets. Pets are welcome as long as they are outdoor pets.
