Eco House Cerrás Agrotourism

A 100% self-sufficient house with a swimming pool built under a sustainable philosophy in the middle of a farm with spectacular views of the entire Garganta de los Infiernos Nature Reserve and the Jerte Valley. The property has 2 hectares of land where you can walk among cherry, plum, and other fruit trees, with organic orchards, pools, and a stream that borders the property. On the ground floor is the living room, dining room and kitchen with island, all open-plan with large windows to enjoy the best views of the entire Jerte Valley On the top floor are the 4 bedrooms with 2x2 King Size beds with the possibility of separating two of the bedrooms into single beds. Each has its own bathroom. Guest access Terrace overlooking the entire Jerte Valley and the extensive cherry fields. The terrace of Cerrás Agroturismo is divided into two areas, making it an ideal place to read a good book, relax and have a glass of wine while admiring the incredible panoramic view that can be seen from our porch. The porch is made of chestnut wood with a three-meter dining table so you can enjoy meals, after-dinner chats, naps, and the wonderful views of the Valley. Infinity pool with overflowing water. The water is kept clean thanks to the salt, which makes it more sustainable by not generating any waste, more natural, by not using chemical elements such as chlorine, and inhibits the formation of bacteria and algae, acting on the skin as a mild natural antiseptic. An excellent place that invites you to cool off and sunbathe with a magnificent view of the entire Valley and its mountains. Other things to note Cerrás Agroturismo is 100% self-sufficient. From the beginning, we wanted to build a totally self-sufficient, sustainable house that would have the least impact on the environment. Being in the middle of nature, we are not connected to any type of public network, so we have to do it with the natural resources that nature provides us. Light fixture The electricity for Cerrás Agroturismo is obtained from solar panels that generate electricity from sunlight. This is stored in batteries to store it for the night and the days when there is no sun. We also have a generator for any emergency that may arise. Water for human consumption The water is obtained from a source in a quarry on our property. This is stored in tanks at the top of the property and flows down to the house where it is made drinkable for use. Domestic Hot Water, Heating and Cooling This is achieved through another renewable energy, Aerothermal energy. Aerothermal energy uses the energy of the air and the electricity of the solar panels to air-condition the interior of the house and heat the domestic hot water.
