Visthuset – historic cottage at Långnäs Manor

Our cottage, called Visthuset at Långnäs Herrgård, is an old vista house from the 1800s. In the early 2000s it was renovated and used as a permanent residence for a few years. Since then, it has been a self-catering holiday home for up to 4 people. The cottage is located on Lake Stor-Gösken, approximately 200 meters from Hofors Golf Club's first tee and Hofors Padel. Hofors and its surroundings offer many opportunities for sports and sightseeing. Please see our guidebooks. The space The cottage consists of two floors. The lower floor has a kitchen and dining area, including fireplace, as well as a small bathroom with shower, toilet, and sink. The kitchen has standard equipment. The upstairs has a room with a Euro king bed (160 x 200 cm), a chaise lounge sofa, a coffee table, and a smart TV. Outside this room, right next to the stairs, there is a sleeping alcove with two smaller single beds (85 x 185 cm). A door allows for some privacy between the two sleeping areas. Please note that the stairs between the floors are open without handrails. The cottage has a deck with tables, chairs, umbrellas, and grill. Guests are also welcome to use our garden. Vehicles can be parked right outside the cottage. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: Cleaning and textiles are not included in the price. We can either rent out the cottage with more personal responsibility or with more convenience. Guests who choose personal responsibility bring their own textiles (bed linens and towels) and clean the cottage themselves before check-out. In the cottage, there are four single duvets, four pillows, and cleaning equipment at your disposal. Guests who want more convenience rent textiles from us and buy professional cleaning services. Rental of textiles costs SEK 125/person and cleaning service costs SEK 1050. Guest access Guests have the entire cottage and the balcony at their disposal. Free parking is available right outside the cabin for 2-3 cars. Guests are also welcome to use our garden. Please note that our dog often walks loose on the property. Let us know if this would cause you discomfort and we will try to avoid this happening during your stay. Other things to note 1) As a guest staying at Långnäs Manor, you can buy discounted green fee tickets to Hofors Golf Club. Senior: 50kr discount. Junior: 25kr discount.
