Villa Menara is a beautiful villa in the heart of the jungle on the outskirts of Tulum. It is located on a private street in the Holistika's neighborhood, a relaxing and in-nature wild area with unpaved roads. Cycling distance to Tulum pueblo, the villa is at 15-20 min car ride to the beaches, Cenotes and Tulum ruins (guidebook provided). Parking on the street/High-speed WiFi. The villa has 4 bdrs / 6 bthrs, 2 pools, rooftop with a large chill-out shaded area. Welcome amenities are included. The space Villa Menara is a 320 m2 (3,600 sq. ft.) villa distributed over three floors. The ground floor has a kitchen, dining room, one spacious bedroom (en-suite bathroom), guest bathroom and open-plan living room with floor-to-ceiling windows and open directly onto the main pool. High ceilings (>3 mt / 10 ft) help create an open and naturally lit space. The dining room has a large wooden table that seats 10 people; the living room is great for kicking back and watching TV on a huge sofa; or organizing a game of cards or board games. While there is a bedroom on the ground floor, the second floor has three bedrooms. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, fitted wardrobes and a safe. The breakdown of the bedrooms is as follows: Bedroom 1 (Ground floor): two queen size beds, air conditioning, ceiling fan, built-in wardrobe with safe, en-suite bathroom with shower, shampoo, gel and conditioner dispenser, hair dryer. Bedroom 2 (Second floor): one queen size bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan, built-in wardrobe with safe, en-suite bathroom with shower, shampoo, gel and conditioner dispenser, hair dryer. Bedroom 3 (Second floor): two queen size beds, air conditioning, ceiling fan, built-in wardrobe with safe, en-suite bathroom with shower, shampoo, gel and conditioner dispenser, hair dryer. Bedroom with access to balcony. Bedroom 4 (Second floor): one king-size bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan, built-in wardrobe with safe, en-suite bathroom with shower, shampoo, shower gel and conditioner dispenser, hair dryer. Bedroom with access to balcony. Rooftop terrace (Third floor): The rooftop is the guests' favorite place given that it has a plunge-pool, large shaded chill-out area with sofas and centre tables, sink / fridge, and a bathroom. Other things to note LOCATION & TRANSPORTATION Tips: The house is about a 15-20 minute walk to Tulum Pueblo and a 15 minute drive to Tulum Beach. For longer stays, I highly recommend renting a car, either from Cancun Airport or Tulum Airport—this is what I personally do. Having a car gives you much more freedom to explore all that the area has to offer, including cenotes, beaches, Mayan ruins, and more. Please note: the home is located in the Holistika residential area, which has a jungle feel and unpaved roads. While this definitely adds to the charm and experience, drive slowly, especially during the rainy season, as potholes are common. If you don´t want to rent a car, we can organize shuttle service to and from the airport, as well as organizing taxi rides to Tulum center or to the beaches / cenotes with a trusted driver. We can also organize bicycle rentals, house call chefs and massages. SECURITY: Please note that there is an outdoor security camera installed at the front of the house. It is directed toward the garden area and monitors the front door entrance for safety and security purposes. WIFI: Villa Menara has high-speed WiFi (20 Mbps), available in all areas of the house and rooftop. Always bear in mind that Tulum is isolated (that´s what makes it so special), but this can sometimes imply intermittent WiFi (due to power outages, etc). ADDITIONAL GUESTS' COST: Please note that there is an additional charge of $35 per person, per night for each guest beyond the 6th. When booking, be sure to enter the total number of guests, and Airbnb will automatically apply the extra guest fee.
