Our charming 1880s New England "saltbox" is fully renovated with an on demand generator, 3 full bathrooms, an eat-in kitchen, a jacuzzi tub, and plenty of space for everyone, with our own woods that back up to a wilderness preserve, and mountain views. We're @ 10 minutes from Sunday River ski resort, and 2.5 miles from downtown Bethel. We have an office area and high speed fiber internet (100/100). You'll feel like you're home, but in Maine! This is an old farmhouse that has been renovated to be a comfortable home. We’re super close to all restaurants, groceries and ski resorts. Hiking and outdoors sports are also nearby. Peace and quiet is built in. You can access all areas of the house and our three acres out back! The new garage, when finished, is not part of the available space for our guests. We are using self check in due to Covid-19. We are available by phone or text if you have any questions ! You will be in a quiet, rural setting. On one side is our babbling brook. Across the street is a large field which leads down to the Androscoggin River. On the other two sides are lovely Maine woods with lots of pine trees and birch trees, birds and other wildlife. This is a very peaceful setting with very little traffic but within a short walk (half a mile) to a public swimming spot for kids and a very short drive to all restaurants, gas stations and rental stores. There are views of the mountains on the south side of the house and loads of great Maine smells and sights! We have a large, automatic generator in case of power outages ( quite common around here). The generator will come on automatically and run everything in the house EXCEPT the large draw appliances so please do not use the oven, washer, drier or space heaters when the generator is running . Speaking of winter, we are app. 11 minutes from Sunday River ski resort and all that includes ! You can also snow show right into our very own 3 acres of woods if you are so inclined ! Peaceful and gorgeous ! You are a little over 2 miles to downtown Bethel and lots of restaurants and a nice little grocery store, gas stations, etc. You are @ 10 minutes to Sunday River ski resort and all they offer! You are very close to Mt. Washington and even closer to the N.H. National Forest Preserve. We have an automatic generator that powers the house in case of a power outage ( quite common!). HOWEVER! If you are on the generator the large draw appliances ( oven, washer , drier and electric space heaters ) cannot be used! Or they will overload the generator . WI-FI Internet speeds: We have a new fiber optic internet provider, First Light, with a 100/100 plan. Parking: Our parking area is a large space in front of the house. It can handle lots of cars @ 8 (depending on the size). You can also park one or two cars in the parking spaces right on the road.
