Beautiful Villa, with pool, on Lake Maggiore

Villa Mariposa is a beautifully positioned family home, on the shore of Lago Maggiore, with a large enclosed south facing garden, perfect for alfresco breakfasts by the swimming pool and just a few minutes walk to the beach! The space Our home comfortably welcomes eight adults. We have comfortable, spacious rooms where you can either read a large selection of books, listen to music or just chill. All the bedrooms have access to terraces, with views of beautiful Lago Maggiore and glimpses of the Alps above the lake or of the pool and garden. The living area consists of two open spaces around 200 m2. A kitchen/dining/living area and a huge playroom/tv room leading out into the garden and the 10m swimming pool. A complimentary glass of Italian wine will be awaiting you! Guest access Villa Mariposa is situated in the village of Monvalle. We are a few minutes walk from a well loved local restaurant, exquisite patisseria and from the garden there is access to a national walking route along the banks of the lake. A short walk across the river and through the wood leads you to a popular beach, with safe swimming for children, volley ball area and a bar to while away summer days. Monvalle is 10 minutes from the popular town of Laveno which gives you access to the lake boats which can take you to the bustling Saturday market in Intras, to historical Stresa or to one of the many famous islands. We are only 40 minutes drive from Malpensa airport and the local train station with frequent trains to Milan is a 5 minute drive away. Other things to note This is our home, so please use our games and read our books but leave then as found. We also have pets.
