Shepherds Hut Farm Stay, Fife
Description
ESCAPE, EXPLORE AND MAKE UNFORGETTABLE MEMORIES The space Escape the stress of everyday life, reconnect with the countryside and experience first-hand what farming life is all about or simply relax, take time to unwind and enjoy the peaceful lochside views, countrside surroundings and its wildlife. What ever the reason for your 'get away' we can't wait to welcome you to Craigduckie! Why not bring your wellies and roll your sleeves up to help with feeding and caring for our sheep, cows and chickens? - all guests receive a complimentary farm tour with a chance to meet the animals and sit on the tractor. We want you to spend quality time together, making memories whilst embracing the outdoors, getting back to basics, building dens, flying kites or going on an adventure off the beaten track. We are conveniently located just 15 minutes from junction 4 of the M90, 40 minutes from Edinburgh and just an hour from Glasgow so are very centrally based for exploring Scotland. Our handcrafted Shepherds Huts are finished to an exceptionally high standard with a partially glazed stable door leading to the quirky double bed (which folds up to create a seating area) and single bunk beds (suitable for children). The huts take glamping to a new level of glamorous with hot showers, wood burning stoves for warming the toes, solid oak kitchens with Belfast sink, hob, oven and fridge. Our kitchen area is fully equipped with everything you might need and we love to add little touches like home baking, marshmallows for toasting as well as tea coffee etc to get you started. Each hut has a fire pit with grate for BBQ’ing, outside seating area and its own hen house so you can collect fresh eggs for breakfast. We can’t wait to welcome you! Guest access Outside, park your cars adjacent to the huts and pack your luggage (and kids) into a barrow for the short walk to your hut (20m). Due to our rural location a taxi is required from our local bus station at Halbeath or Dunfermline (approx 3 - 4 miles) or the railway stations at Queen Margaret or Dunfermline Town. If you need any assistance with travel arrangements please contact us. Other things to note Lamb Lookout sleeps up to two adults and 2 children. Unfortunately we do not accept pets due to the accommodation being located on our sheep farm.
