A couple of miles from the village of Mundesley with its Blue Flag sandy beach , pub, cafe & local food shops. The Victorian Seaside towns of Cromer & Sheringham are close by as are The Norfolk Broads, Norwich, Wells & Holkham. The space Our cottage ideally sleeps 3 with a double and single bed but if you have children an extra mattress can be provided to accommodate 2 adults and two children. This could also accommodate a young adult/teenager. There is also room in either bedroom or for a travel cot which can be set up for you. Please request these extras when booking and let me know if you require bedding. Main door from the lane leads into a fully fitted kitchen with coats and muddy boots area, washing machine & microwave oven. This then leads to the lounge with sofa, chair, tv, dining table with 4 chairs and ornamental fireplace. There are books, magazines, puzzles & board games. The front door leads out onto a pretty enclosed courtyard with table & chairs. Extra bistro chairs can be brought outside from the dining area. We have recently added willow screening around the courtyard creating a private area to relax. From the lounge beside the fireplace steep winding traditional Norfolk stairs lead upstairs to a good sized double bedroom . This has a wardrobe and chest of drawers. There is also a desk area with office lamp. The second bedroom with has a single bed and dressing table with mirror, storage drawers and hangers. The bathroom has a toilet, basin and bath with shower attachment and shower curtain. The property has gas central heating throughout. There is unlimited free parking opposite next to the pub. It’s a great place to explore the North Norfolk Coast, The Norfolk Broads and the fine city of Norwich. Guest access There is a regular bus service through the village to North Walsham and Norwich in one direction and Cromer in the other direction which links to Sheringham and the coast. There are train stations at North Walsham and Gunton. There is free parking in the village next to the pub. Other things to note This property isn’t particularly suited to very young children or anyone with mobility problems due to the steep Norfolk winding staircase. However I will happily consider families with older children who will not find the stairs difficult to climb up and down. Families with younger children who are still learning to negotiate stairs may wish to consider the suitability and is entirely at your own risk. There is a stair gate at the top & bottom of the stairs. Babies are welcome but please bring a high chair. Travel cot & bedding available on request. Well trained dogs welcome, maximum of two. Please confirm when booking on the booking form and send me a message. Thank you.
