The space Watercraft Availability May - October (weather dependent in later April and early Nov) +2 Kayaks/row boat/Canoe/paddle boat - life vests Swim Platform Lake Access to the lake is not like a beach where little ones can wade into the water at the shoreline, you need to kayak, row or pedal boat to the swim platform and use that as your base House +Fire extinguisher, smoke and CO detectors +Central Air Conditioning & Heat +Washer/Dryer +Step in shower with bench +Tub +BBQ, Outside dining furniture +Hammock Guest access Keypad entry Other things to note Lake: Access to the lake is not like a beach where little ones can wade into the water at the shoreline. A few strokes in the row boat from the dock and you'll be at your private swim platform to swim, fish or hangout from during the day. Neighborhood: there are neighbors on either side of the cottage, so if your going to be outside after 9pm, I always ask everyone to keep that in mind when hanging out and chatting. Guests: this setting is NOT a good match for bridal/groom showers, large college reunions or friends/friends giving gatherings Parking: There is only space for two cars in the driveway, there is no off-street parking Location - The list below is shows the approximate distances from the cottage Hillsdale: about 15 minutes Copake: about 8 minutes Craryville: about 10 minutes Hudson: about 25 minutes (Hudson is the "city" and the adjacent town is called "Greenport" and both have numerous ATMs, restaurants, gas stations, shopping etc) Taghkanic: about 15 minutes Livingston: about 20 minutes Great Barrington: about 30 minutes (slow due to the speed limit going up and down between 30 mph to 45 mph) Catamount: about 20 minutes Butternut: about 35-40 minutes
