The Apartment is in one of the closes on the Royal Mile. What makes us unique is that due to our location a few minutes walking distance from Waverly Station, tucked in a historic Royal Mile Close and feels miles away from all the hustle and bustle of the Royal Mile and its restaurants and bars. We offer a 1 bedroom apartment for two people with a well-equipped kitchen (fridge/freezer, washing machine, oven and hob, Lavazza Pod coffee machine, microwave), and living area and 1 large bedroom with UK standard double size bed and a nordic hanging wardrobe. There is a shower room with electric shower with a heated towel rack and a separate toilet. We are located on the Third Floor (Top floor) of the building. The building is about 170 years old with historical characteristics and staircase design. *****Please prepare for the stairs. ****** Our apartment on Royal Mile has all the essentials to make your city break perfect include: We provide a Wi-Fi for international and UK travellers to enhance their travel expensive. Smart TV with Disney Plus, unlimited WIFI, towels and linens, hairdryer and shampoo and shower gel, umbrella(!) and kitchen supplies. If there is anything else that not on this list, then please just ask! Please advise if you would like the use of iron and ironing board for smart occasions. Check-in time around 3pm but we are flexible. *** For Sunday check-in time is 4pm. Check out time at 11 am 2-night minimum stay at weekends Min-2 night stay during the August, Christmas period apply to check-in date 23rd and 24th December, and the Marathon Weekend Min-4 night stay over New year Due to the central location, you are in the heart of the Old Town so public transport is not really required, however you are minutes away from a variety of bus routes all over the city. The Waverly Train Station is about 5 to 10 minutes walk. The Edinburgh Hop on Hop off tour bus are 5 walk. The flat is non-smoking. A fine of £200 will be applied if any sign of smoking is identified. This is to respect the house rules and other subsequent guests. thank you for your understanding. Early check-in is subject to availability and extra charge. Guest access We can meet our guests for check in if they wish, but in case its not possible or arrival times are unknown we have a key safe for full flexibility regards arrival times. Other things to note We try to accommodate an early check in wherever possible No late check outs or luggage storage on a Sunday -sorry! But we recommend central luggage storage options for all budgets. Let us know if you have this requirement. PARKING: Parking option is Waverly Train Station about £22 per day (last check 2021) Unfortunately, there is no free parking due to our central location. Edinburgh Council street parking is available. We are central location zone 3 parking. Parking charges apply on Monday to Saturday 8.30am to 6.30pm and Sunday 12.30pm to 6.30pm (last check 2021). There are also 'Park and Rides' bus from the outskirts of the city where you can park up and get a local bus into the city, please check for overnight parking restrictions. LUGGAGE STORAGE: We provide short term luggage storage options please enquire for more details. *** LOST KEY POLICY The security of all our guests is a priority, so the lock and sets of keys will be replaced. Please bear in mind upon your arrival that guests are fully responsible for lost keys and associated fees. Honest feedback to guests. Lost keys are £100 to cover replacement and associated fees.
