Our Airbnb barn is much more than stone, bricks and tiles; it represents a place to relax, rest, and gather your thoughts. Furthermore, it reflects our environmental values, and we have endeavoured to "tread lightly". Where ever possible, we have incorporated renewable features into the building. For example, all our windows are double-glazed, with high-performance glazing. An air-source heat pump and underfloor heating keep the temperature constant. All the lighting is LED. Photovoltaic solar panels generate a portion of the electricity, and an Ecodesign-ready stove uses renewable timber from our trees.
