The Historic Backdoor Cottage in Southport, NC

The charming Backdoor Cottage is located in the Historic District of Southport, NC. It's named the Backdoor Cottage because you park and enter through the backdoor into the living space. It is within walking distance of the whole Historic District including the waterfront, restaurants, shops, churches and art galleries. Much of the art work in the cottage was done by local artists. Watch Nicholas Sparks' movie, Safe Haven, if you'd like to see what Southport looks like. It was filmed here. The space The Swasey Cottage, which is also an Airbnb, is right next door. It has two bedrooms and a full kitchen. You may want to check it out. If you decide to stay at The Backdoor Cottage, I'll send you a full description of things you will want to know in order to have a wonderful visit in Southport. Guest access You will have access to the entire cottage. I do ask, however, that you park by the "backdoor" which is actually the entry to the sitting room. Other things to note You are welcome to park your boat on the lot in back of the cottages. Just let me know if you are bringing your boat and we can pick the best place to park it.
