Cottage close to Fabulous Lake Mich!

Spring has arrived at the little cottage in the woods! Relax in your own place on a sweet private lane with one queen-size bed and fireplace. There are two cottages on the property. This cottage sits behind our main cottage; the family home is next door. While not directly on the beach, it is approximately a 150 ft. walk down your private path to Lake Michigan and your own beach along with chairs, kayaks, boat, and fire spot. You can walk both ways and Antrim Creek Natural Area is very close. The space The friendly inviting cottage has open living and dining space with ceramic tile floors and colorful rugs. The French doors allow lots of fresh up- north air, and the main door opens onto the stone garden patio with sitting areas. The garden has native plantings mostly surrounded by trees for privacy. The kitchen is equipped with dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, and small appliances. We have extra pillows, blankets, sheets, bath towels, beach towels, and plenty of paper supplies for your use. There are also games, books, and puzzles available. Guest access You will have your own beach access path with lawn and lounge chairs. After a beautiful sunset on a calm evening, feel free to make a beach fire with the brush and logs available for your use if the wind is calm and no burn bans are in place. Please do NOT bring in wood-we have plenty. Be sure to put the fire out responsibly. You may use the small rowboat and two recreational kayaks or bring your own. Please use the lifejackets provided or bring your own if you have special requirements. Park near the driveway entrance just off the lane or in the designated parking space near the garden. There is absolutely no smoking inside or outside on any of the property. We also anticipate that you will be respectful of our great neighbors at all times so we can all enjoy this beautiful spot. Other things to note There is one queen size bed and we an accommodate one or two people.
