Designed by renowned architect Paulo Jacobsen, Secret Bungalow 3 is a lakeside retreat that unites architecture and nature in perfect harmony. With a private 3×3m heated Jacuzzi and attached barbecue — equipped with a champagne cooler and support bench — it offers comfort, privacy and a breathtaking view of the lake. There is the possibility of hiring the services of local employees (cook/cleaner), with prior request and subject to availability. The daily rate is R$200 and everything can be arranged directly with her. IMPORTANT NOTES The house comprises 3 en-suites, prepared to accommodate 3 couples comfortably. We can provide mattresses to accommodate children and teenagers up to 12 years old in the rooms along with parents/guardians. The Vale das Videiras region has no reception/cell phone signal. The best access to Vale das Videiras is via BR-040, a federal highway that connects Rio de Janeiro to Belo Horizonte. Leaving the road at the Km. 65 exit, towards Araras, you enter a beautiful paved mountain road, which takes the visitor to the village of Vale. This road is the RJ-117, which connects Petrópolis to Paty do Alferes. After arriving at the center of Vale das Videiras, there are another 7 km of road to the entrance of the farm. Passenger cars may have difficulty on the road in rainy seasons. In the rainy season, power outages may occur in the Rio de Janeiro mountains. The house has its own generator and the cost of diesel is charged separately. We are not responsible for power outages in the region, any Wi-Fi connectivity problems, or road quality. These services are provided by third-party and/or public companies that are beyond our control. Our bungalow is surrounded by an exuberant landscape, where nature is the protagonist. Here, you will wake up to the birdsong, breathe fresh air and enjoy a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. However, it is important to know that, as in any place surrounded by nature, small visitors such as spiders and other insects may appear. If you are afraid of or dislike this kind of contact with wildlife, this may not be the ideal place for you. If the idea of being immersed in nature enchants you, you will be very welcome!
