Description

Crafted from the Chancel and adjoining Tower of the former All Saints Church, the property offers great space for guests, with three individually designed bedroom suites and a fourth bedroom from the easily converted Top Floor Library / Study. Enjoy socialising in the cavernous dining hall, relax in the sumptuous lounge area or make use of the large patio area in the secluded private gardens. Just moments from local shops and eateries, a perfect spot in the heart of the village. The space The layout includes two double bedrooms, a third bedroom which can be set up as a double or a twin and a study with a double sofa bed, that can be converted into the fourth bedroom. Guests should be aware that All Saints is a listed church conversion and that the lift is not suitable for wheelchair users. The alternative access to upper floors includes steep (emergency) stairs and therefor unsuitable for those with mobility constraints OR any health issues which may prevent use of the stairs - please check BEFORE booking. It’s mezzanine reception area overlooks the communal nave through floor to ceiling glazing, whilst also overlooking the separate dining area. The reception area accessed by a bespoke spiral staircase, situated on the site of the former alter. Set in an open area extending to the roof two stories above, it is indeed breath taking, flooded with light from the roof light window above by day and lit by one of the original 1920s church chandeliers by night. The five levels of the tower are served by a lift (see attached guide) and include separate bedrooms and dressing rooms. At the top of the property, within the former belfry, the study / Library area (bedroom four) offers 360 degree views across the Kent and Sussex countryside, with a glazed ceiling allowing viewing up into the structure of the original spire. The property has an ensuite bathroom to the master bedroom, a dressing room with shower room within the tower and separate WC and Shower accessible on the 1st Floor Mezzanine Level. There is also a further cloakroom WC and separate Utility room on the Ground floor. These rooms have heated ceramic tiled floors with LED lighting and high spec designer sanitary fittings. Tower House has a fully equipped kitchen / diner, planned with entertaining in mind. With the laundry provisions located in a separate utility room, the space has been handed over to preparing (and consuming) meals. The range of (Schmidt) kitchen units are topped with quarts worktops and fitted with latest integrated appliances. Outside, guest can enjoy the private patio garden, equipped with lounge furniture and external dining set, or make use of teh wider communal lawns. Please note that due to conditions or our lease the HOT TUB is unfortunately NO LONGER PROVIDED. Parking for two vehicles is included, secure behind electric gates. Entertainment includes large LED TVs, wireless broadband, Netflix and an Xbox, along with books, DVDs and games. Guest access Situated in the heart of Hawkhurst village, guest can enjoy variety of shops and eateries within just a few minutes. Whilst situated on a bus route (with direct routes to Hasting and Tunbridge Wells) travelling by car is best with many places of interested found within 30 mins (see guide). Parking is secure and included, with two spaces available for guest use.
