It's in an excellent location with transport links into Central London - just 15 mins by train to London Bridge, 20 mins to Canary Wharf or London City Airport. The space The spacious living room and master bedroom both have chandeliers and fireplaces. The master bedroom has French doors that open out into a welcoming landscaped garden. There is a beautiful travertine bathroom with a double slipper bath tub and English basin. The modern kitchen is fully fitted with appliances and has a granite worktop. There are wooden floors throughout and a bay window which gives wonderful light. The master bedroom has a queen size bed with two sets of double wardrobes. The second bedroom has a bunk bed (strong and sturdy for adults too) with a chest of drawers. An electronic double size air bed can easily be set up in the living room. Quality bedding, towels and bath toiletries are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking with pots, pans, utensils, crockery, cutlery, wine and even champagne glasses if celebrating. There is a local butcher, greengrocer, mini supermarket and wine shop in the village and large chain supermarkets are nearby. Guest access There are some parking restrictions/cost around Blackheath subject to day/time. Parking permits can be arranged for 'BHA' zone in advance at a small cost. Other things to note On Sundays, there is the Farmers Market where you can get fresh and delicious produce, gourmet treats and it is a foodie’s delight. The Heath is stunning against the skyline and across it is an easy walk to Greenwich Royal Park. Here you can visit the Royal Observatory planetarium home of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). Immerse yourself in this historic Royal Park, there are so many vantage points with breath taking panoramic views of the City of London, the River Thames, Canary Wharf, and the O2 Arena. Also closeby is the Maritime Greenwich World Heritage Site, the Queen’s House and Old Royal Naval College. You can also take a boat trip on the River Thames to explore other areas of London. Funfair and circus performances are on during school holiday periods, which is an attraction for the whole family. Blackheath also hosts the starting point for the annual London Marathon and the magnificent firework displays for Guy Fawkes Night.
