Room in a Welcoming Family Home with Amenities

Light and homely room in an extended and refurbished home. You’ll live with us, a family of 4 (our kids are 15 and 13) and our dog! Do read our reviews, but we love welcoming guests to our home whilst respecting your privacy. We are regularly told our home is a calm and relaxed space! We are a great base for anyone working in the area. The space You’ll have your own bedroom with double bed, bedside tables, desk & chair, wardrobe and chest of drawers. There is plenty of storage space for stays long or short. Bed linen and plentiful towels are provided. A full bathroom, adjacent to the room is allocated solely for your use. In here you’ll find a spacious bath with a shower above. If you’re staying with us more than 7 nights we clean the bathroom on a weekly basis (unless you wish otherwise!). You’ll have full access to the family kitchen for light meal preparation (we’ll happily make cupboard & fridge space available to you). Tea, coffee and milk is available for your refreshment. We run an honesty pot system should you wish to use things like our nespresso machine. Washing machine & drying rack are also available for your use. You are welcome to enjoy the rare sunny day in our garden! Guest access Obviously you have your own private bedroom and bathroom (not ensuite). In addition you’re welcome to use the kitchen for light meal preparation (you’ll have space in the fridge and a cupboard for your use), the washing machine (a drying rack is available for your use) and the garden. **Please see the additional rules section for information if you plan to regularly ‘work from home’ during your stay** During your stay This is obviously our family home, so we are around at most times however we utterly respect your privacy! Other things to note The room is a very good sized double room. There is plenty of on road free parking adjacent to the property, plus you are welcome to park on our drive.
