It's the kind of place where time slows down and simple pleasures shine. Inside, you'll find a semi-custom kitchen with leathered granite counters and stainless appliances- fully stocked with all the dishes and glassware you'll need for your family of four. The spacious bathroom has a handcrafted 48” tile shower (no tub) and both bedrooms are ready for restful nights after your mountain adventures. Start your mornings on the screened front porch with a hot cup of locally roasted coffee. It's a favorite spot for reading, relaxing, or just breathing in the fresh mountain air. The porch has comfy seating for three or four. Out back, a fenced yard wraps around the cottage, offering a mix of sunshine and shade. Relax on the deck with casual seating for four. Share dinner or a game of checkers under the custom pergola, where the sound of raindrops on the metal roof adds to the charm. As the sun sets, gather around the Solo Stove fire pit. We provide enough firewood for at least two fires -and yes, we've got throws if the evening air turns crisp. Enjoy a game of croquet or corn hole in the back yard. Walk to the Tuxedo community park and enjoy their basketball/pickleball court, playground, paved trail and Pollinator Garden. Not in the mood to cook? Grubhub & Door Dash deliver right to the cottage. Whether you're adventuring outdoors or lounging with a book on the porch, this cozy cottage is your home base for making mountain memories. Guest access You'll have access to the whole house. Other things to note Tuxedo Park is just a short stroll away and offers a charming spot to unwind. Enjoy a paved walking trail, a playground, a beautiful pollinator garden, and a combination basketball/pickleball court - available on a first-come, first-serviced basis. Feel free to borrow our pickleball set (for four) and enjoy a friendly match at the park! Lake Summit is also less than a five-minute walk from the property. It's perfect for a scenic walk or bike ride around the water. For more outdoor fun, Bell Park is just a 10-minute drive away, located off Hwy 176, near South Lake Summit Road.
