We rent our little cocoon at the foot of the mountains where we like to spend time exploring the surrounding area, mountain climbing, walking... The space This is a central house at the entrance of the city so you will find all the shops and services close by (supermarkets, bakeries, banks, press, photographer, hairdresser...) The house is located at the foot of the road to Saint Pierre de Chartreuse, which will give you quick access by car to very nice walks and beautiful places: - Family-friendly downhill skiing / sledding / cross-country skiing / snowshoeing resorts in Saint Pierre de Chartreuse or Saint Hugues. - Iconic hikes in the Chartreuse Mountains (Grand Som, Chamechaude, La Grande Sûre... and many more!) - Miribel-les-Échelles forest - The Tourbières de l'Héretang (very family-friendly walk outside Saint Laurent du Pont) - Saint Christophe Caves (magnificent walk with surprising geological features) - The Monastery of the Grande Chartreuse (emblematic!) Saint Laurent du Pont is 35 minutes from Grenoble and 25 minutes from Chambéry, both have a train station. Buses run several times a day. The house consists of 3 levels: The first consists only of an entrance facing the street. Great for leaving all your mountain gear there! The second level opens onto a large living room composed of two spaces (living room and office) as well as an open kitchen and a toilet. The third level (secured by a child barrier) has a corridor serving 3 bedrooms as well as a toilet and a bathroom. 2 bedrooms have a 140 x 200 bed, the third is composed of two 80 x 200 beds that can be converted into a single 160 x 200 bed. The house is suitable for children and has everything you need (high chair, bed, toys, books, changing table, bathtub) Other things to note Linens and towels are not provided.
