UPDATE 4/24/25 If you’ve stayed with us and have enjoyed our sweet kitty-Copper. We are sad to say that he is no longer with us. We never dreamed that he’d be our most loved amenity! If you never met-please see reviews! RIP Copper! Love our 1865 farmhouse! Located off highway 694 Quiet neighborhood, min. to everything 24 to airport/Mall of America. 15 to St Paul. 15 to Woodbury-restaurants/shopping 7 to Lake Elmo,(fine dining/Lake Elmo Inn, Lake Elmo Park reserve 18 to Stillwater or Hudson,WI The space SORRY NO PETS!! AND YES WE LIVE HERE! Although there is a designated guest area, there are also some common areas guests are welcome to enjoy. A lovely wrap around porch. Porch swing. 1 acre of perennial gardens, pergola, fire pit (newly update June 2019) and swings attached to an over 150 year old oak tree. There is also a rooftop deck, accessed through the attic and a wine ‘grotto’ in the basement which guests are welcome to explore as well upon request. There is not a stand up shower in the guest bathroom, but ther is a hand held spray nozzle. Guest access The designated (private) guest bathroom does not have a stand up shower, but does have a hand held shower nozzle. You may use the main level shower if necessary upon request, however this is a shared common space in the home. There are also some other common spaces guests might be interested in exploring...Including a wrap- around porch, garden pergola, fire pit, wine cellar ‘grotto’, and ‘widows-walk’ rooftop deck. Brent is always happy to give a detailed tour with information on the history of the home! During your stay We live here! We are happy to be as interactive as guests would like, and Brent is always happy to give a tour, but we will also respect the preference of peace and quiet... Other things to note We do not accept guests or guests of guests under the age of 21 unless they are the dependent children of the guest. If your identity or age is in question, we reserve the right to ask for a valid ID at your time of arrival. Also note that the property is bordered by train tracks where trains run several times during the day and night! It is, however, considered a quiet zone and they are not supposed to blow their horn!
