Chuckanut Whispering Falls Carriage House

Looking for a peaceful getaway then look no further. Our carriage house has all the amenities of home and NO CLEANING FEE (new reservations) Bask in the tranquility of our pond & waterfalls. Relax in the steam room, sauna or sit back in the outdoor kitchen/bar. Trails & parks are close by to truly immerse yourself in nature. No other guest suites located on the property but we do live onsite too. The space Our detached two story carriage house is complete with a full kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms & bath (shower + vanity), laundry and patio. Bedrooms & bathroom on 2nd floor. The carriage house is located on the east side of the main house, with an Airbnb parking sign on the front of it. Go through the metal gate to access the front of the building. Please be aware that we on Chuckanut Mountain therefore cell service is VERY challenging but we do offer wifi. Guests (and ourselves) have had no issues using wifi calling to compensate for the poor cellular coverage. In for the evening? Enjoy cable TV along with a variety of dvds. Complimentary coffee/tea, fruit basket, cider with key bottle opener (yours to keep). Bedroom lamps equipped with USB ports. Pullout sofabed available to accommodate 5th guest (linens provided) at additional $25 fee. This is a non-smoking property. We have pet Swedish Blue Ducks, Bonnie & Clyde. They are very friendly and curious. Please do not leave the gate opens so predators stay out and our ducks stay in. We also have wild Mallards who are part of our flock, Cheese & Quackers. Please do not allow children to chase the ducks. We also have koi in both of our ponds along with other small critters and birds. We are a certified wildlife habitat and have a delicate ecosystem for our wildlife friends. Please do not feed the animals or throw anything into the ponds. Strict no pet policy due to allergies. Violation of this policy will result in guests being asked to leave without a refund. Parties and events are not permitted Guest access Outdoor areas including: spa house (sauna, steam room, washroom/shower), outdoor gardens, outdoor kitchen, patio off living area with privacy fence. BBQ area by owners residence and other out buildings not listed above are owner use only. Other things to note Being that we are on Chuckanut Mountain, CELLULAR SERVICE IS VERY LIMITED therefore you may have difficulty getting a signal but we do offer wifi. Our guests have no issues with wifi calling to compensate for the poor cellular coverage. Many of our guests have worked onsite and held video conferences without issues. Please note in the event of a POWER OUTAGE during storm season, there is NO cellular service or wifi. The Fire Department is located at the end of the street in case of a medical emergency during an outage. Cellular signal is available a mile up the road at Larabee Park if cellular is needed during a power outage. Please note that our ponds are for viewing pleasure only. For the health and well being of our aquatic life, please do not dip your feet in or swim in our ponds as doing so will impact the delicate ecosystem. Please ensure that children do not approach the ducks, particularly when we have ducklings or any other wildlife or disturb the feeders. COVID-19 We care about your health and safety. A clean/sanitized guest house and common areas keeps us all in good health. But if you have been or think you may have been exposed to COVID-19 or are exhibiting symptoms, we kindly ask you to visit us another time. We also ask our guests to not bring additional guests outside of your party. Please help us keep common areas clean and use the hand sanitizer upon entering the cottage and before exploring the backyard and it’s amenities. In addition, cleaning products will be provided, please wipe down surfaces after use. Much appreciated thank you.
