Welcome to a tropical garden 🐜🦎 — yes, it’s gorgeous, but also home to ants, geckos (mosquito assassins), frogs (pool DJs), and spiders. Asking us to evict them? Nope. They pay rent in charm. 🌧 Rainy season = frogs performing very loud love songs at night. They’re persistent, we promise. ------ 2. Dogs make you nervous. Our village has territorial watchdogs. Barking is their cardio. Sometimes they bark at scooters moving too slowly. No attacks in 7 years — consider it the authentic Balinese soundtrack. 🐕🎶 ------ 3. You can’t ride a scooter (or won’t hire Gojek/Grab/Bluebird). Scooter = survival here. Closest beach 7 min, seven more within 10–20 min. Walking?
