Two well-behaved dog welcome. The space Wisteria Cottage is an end of terrace coastal cottage situated on a non-working farm in the South Hams, Devon. Equidistant from the beautiful coastal towns of Salcombe and Dartmouth. It is one cottage at the end of a terrace of three within a group of four situated at Lamacraft Farm, less than a mile by footpath from the beautiful beach of North Hallsands which links up in both directions for the stunning South West Coast Footpath from Hallsands beach, either towards the fishing village of Beesands or the iconic Start Point Lighthouse and onwards to Lannacombe beach, East Prawle and East Portlemouth. All these beaches are dog friendly all year long and the pubs are all very dog friendly too! With FAST WiFi fibre to premises speeds of up to 70 Mbps. There are sea views and stunning skies over Start Bay from the gardens. Views from the master bedroom of Start Bay and also from the conservatory and the enclosed garden and wider gardens. This is an awe inspiring dramatic coastline with lots of beautiful beaches and little coves to explore. If you enjoy walking or running the coastal path it's the ideal spot to explore from. Amazing birdwatching see if you can spot the cirl bunting once widespread but now only found in South Devon. We have spotted them see if you can! There are buzzards and seals and all sorts of wildlife to be found here there is even a deer in the garden! Extensive gardens and woodland areas to explore that lead to a path that takes you through the hamlet of Bickerton and onto Hallsands beach. Check-in time is 4pm. NB third bedroom is a bunk room with bunkbeds fitted wall to wall they may not be suitable for very tall adults. they are full-sized length bunkbeds but there is no room at the end of them. Guest access You will have access to Wisteria Cottage a self contained cottage that sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms one with a king bed, second a twin and third a bunk bedroom. There is a modern shower room with WC and basin and also additional separate downstairs WC and basin (NB this downstairs WC is not heated). There is a door at the top and the bottom for entrance. You can enter through the back door which is through a gravelled courtyard which is enclosed. This has access to the bedrooms at first floor. The stairs then go down to the ground floor living space and kitchen. There is also a front door at ground-floor that leads to the kitchen and lounge. There are 3 steps up to the door. Log burner and logs available to buy on site. You are free to explore the gardens however the top of the hill is reserved as our private garden. There is space for 2 cars to park in the parking area that is just next to the property. There is also access to the wider gardens as well as own courtyard garden. WiFi available superfast fibre to premises.. **NB. Well behaved dogs are very welcome but sorry no puppies. This is a beautiful rural remote area. Please be advised that there is no public transport here and you will need a car. Other things to note Dogs should be kept on a lead. The enclosed garden is fenced. But there are gardens beyond that are not fenced are care should be taken at all times in the garden as there is livestock in adjoining fields. There are some farm cats around too..!
