Make plans to stay at ‘Falcon’s Nest,’ a cozy 4bd, 3ba Arch Cape vacation rental house in the quiet, private neighborhood of Falcon Cove. This property features 2 levels, over 2,000 sf of fully furnished living space, terrific amenities, and incredible ocean views. Perfect for a multi-generation/multi-family coastal getaway. Enjoy hiking, dinner on the patio, lounging on the deck, or watch the sunset from the balcony. The secluded Falcon Cove Beach is just a short walk away from the property. The space As you enter ‘Falcon’s Nest’ on the first floor, you’re greeted with a fully equipped kitchen including a Keurig for your morning cup of coffee, a bar top with stools to eat at, or chat with the chef and a fold-out kitchen table to enjoy your meal. The kitchen blends into the family room with an oversized comfy sectional couch with three electric reclining seats, and a TV that is optimal for binging your favorite Amazon or Netflix shows (accounts not provided). This level is rounded out with a bedroom that includes a queen bed with an additional twin daybed with a twin trundle under it, and a full bath with a walk-in shower. First-floor access out to the patio leads you to a native garden, Weber charcoal grill, propane BBQ, patio table, fire-pit, and deck with conversation set. Listen to the tranquil sound of the ocean while eating locally caught crab or roasting S’mores. As you work your way up to the second floor, you are met with a second living space with relaxing seating, an electric fireplace, and a TV to watch Dish cable, Amazon, or Netflix. This level of the house includes three other bedrooms, each with king beds. The master suite includes a TV, walk-in closet, and a spacious master bath with a walk-in shower. An additional bathroom is located on this level that includes a shower/tub combo and a washer/dryer. ADDITIONAL DETAILS • Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen, Keurig (pods provided), free WiFi, parking for 3 vehicles MAX (carport +2 gravel spots - any additional cars would illegally parked and subject to towing), 3 flat-screen cable TVs, mobile air purifier, fire-pit (wood not provided), balcony with ocean views, spacious patio with outdoor dining, raised deck with conversation set, towels & linens provided, pet-friendly, ceiling fans, individual room heat vents, Weber grill, propane BBQ, in-unit laundry machines, and more • Magical Arch Cape location just steps away from the beach with jaw-dropping views of the Oregon Coast & easy access to sightseeing, hiking, fishing, crabbing, restaurants, shops, art galleries, & more • The secluded Falcon Cove beach access is .25 miles away (occasionally a closer access point is available if storms have not dislodged the stairs) with tidepools just another 1/4 mile walk along the beach. Beach is accessed through a path that leads to a wooded staircase. The rocks at the bottom of the stairs are large and unstable, so beachgoers should be cautious while walking on the rocks down to the sand. Beach access is not suitable for those with mobility issues. • Oswald West State Park just 2 miles south on 101 is home to Short Sand Beach. This beach lies sheltered in a cove blanketed by forests and edged with volcanic basalt and sandstone cliffs characteristic of the Oregon coastline. Nicknamed “Shorty’s” by locals, the beach is just a half-mile walk through the woods on a wider, more accessible path, where you’ll find yourself at a beautiful picnic area overlooking the beach. PARKING: • The Falcon Cove neighborhood roads are narrow and private. NO "street parking" allowed. Per Tillamook County STR ordinance, the property has a 3-vehicle MAXIMUM allowance in the 3 designated spots (carport + 2 gravel spots to the south of the house). • Any additional vehicles are subject to tow if illegally parked on others' property or impede access for other neighbors, utilities (ie. garbage truck), or emergency vehicles. • I apologize, but I have NO suggestions for additional parking in the neighborhood. Parking for any additional vehicles will require renters' own due diligence. HOUSE RULES: • No smoking • Pet friendly with a $15 per pet/per night fee (maximum of 2 allowed, dogs only). Please pick up after your pets, an additional fee of $35 WILL apply if dog waste is not picked up. • No events, parties, or large gatherings of guests – AT ALL - on the property. • Must be at least 25 years old to book • Please remember this is a quiet residential neighborhood. To preserve this all guests must observe quiet hours between 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. PETS: • The yard is fenced, but please keep an eye on your pets while outdoors. • Poop bags are available by the back door to the yard for your convenience. • Please pick up after your pets before your departure and place used bags in the trash out front. An additional fee of $35 WILL apply if dog waste is not picked up. NOTES: • This home has a maximum occupancy of 8 adults, but is flexible up to 10 if the additional guests are children • White towels are available in the laundry room for beach use. Please hose off your feet on the back patio and shake out clothes before coming into the house. If towels are used on the beach, please shake them out well. We try to prevent too much sand from getting in showers, washer, and dryer. CHECK-IN INSTRUCTIONS: • Check-in after 4:00 PM. Consideration for early check-in may be made if requested at least 48 hrs in advance of check-in. • Keyless lock at the main entrance in the carport, automatically relocks after 30 seconds. Key lockbox available for backup. • Please inform the Guest Contact of any problems or concerns upon arrival, so we can work to address these immediately. CHECK-OUT INSTRUCTIONS: • Before your departure, please tidy up the home. • See CHECK-OUT CHECKLIST photo with check-out requirements. • Check out before 11:00 AM. Cleaning staff will be at the house promptly at 11 AM. Any delays in their access to the house will incur additional fees for their wait time. • Late check-out is available if guests agree to wash ALL the laundry and complete the Check-Out Checklist. • Additional fees WILL be imposed if the home is found in an unsatisfactory condition, so please return it to the condition in which you found it. Other things to note NO "street parking" allowed. Per Tillamook County STR ordinance, the property has a 3-vehicle MAXIMUM allowance in the 3 designated spots. Any additional vehicles are subject to tow if illegally parked on others' property or impede access for neighbors, utilities (ie. garbage truck), or emergency vehicles. Day and/or overnight parking for any additional vehicles will require renters' due diligence. To increase protection for our guests, we now have a minimum 24-hour turnaround time between guests (before guests could check out by 11 am, while the next guest could check-in at 4 pm the same day). Most extra blankets/throws and pillows & shams have been removed to minimize the risk of virus contamination on items throughout the house is reduced.
