A small second cabin may be available if you need work space. Listen to birds and frogs, watch the loons and the fireflies, read by the fire, play games and spend time together. Your own cabin and surrounds are private, spread across about 15 of our 115 acres. Cabin has the waterfront, meadows, walking paths and barn space. The office is located in the Lodge Post Pond is 1.3 miles from the Lyme Common, a gem of a village 10 miles from vibrant Hanover, NH - home to Dartmouth College, and 2 miles from the Connecticut River. A wonderful spot for long canoe trips, bike rides up and down both sides of the river and then of course there is all of wonderful Vermont on the other side of the Connecticut - all within spitting distance of the Appalachian Trail. This is a rural area. No zip cars on site yet so you'll need your own car unless you are hiking the Appalachian Trail (AT) in which case we'll come pick you up and drop you off again. Excellent bus service to Hanover from Boston and NYC. If you want stay on site without a car we can meet you at the bus or train station and you can get groceries delivered. We provide free Internet access for guests in cabins and public spaces, using hi-speed LymeFiber.
