Hockings Green - 2 Bedroom dog-friendly EVCharger
Description
Hockings Green is a luxury, spacious 2 bedroom / bathroom barn located just off the A38 in a tranquil rural hamlet, close to Looe, Seaton, Polperro, Talland Bay, Bodmin Moor, Plymouth and The Eden Project. It is in an ideal location for exploring all of Cornwall and West Devon. Converted from a derelict cowshed in 2017; set in a large, beautifully landscaped courtyard alongside our other 2 holiday cottages, Pascoe Pippins and Gilliflower - all named after Cornish cider apples The space The traditional stone exterior of Hockings Green gives way to a rustic interior with a modern twist – wooden floors, exposed timber trusses which contrast with the white colour scheme. This gives a light, bright and airy quality to the open plan layout. It has been decorated and furnished with the utmost care and attention with an emphasis on quality. The Living Room area has comfy sofas and two large armchairs where you can hunker down and read a book or play a board game around the wood burning stove for a cosy evening in. Or you can take advantage of our full subscriptions to NOW TV and curl up to watch your favourite box sets, movies or SKY Sports. The kitchen is spacious and welcoming with bespoke painted units and solid oak worktops; designed, made and installed by a local craftsman. It is very well equipped with integrated appliances and has everything you might need to cook a hearty Cornish breakfast or even a full Sunday Roast! The dining area is a sociable space for sharing a delicious home cooked meal together. For those warmer days or evenings, guests could have a cup of tea, or a glass of wine, outside in their private garden space. There you will find outdoor seating and a charcoal BBQ for your exclusive use to enjoy the midday and evening sun. The bedrooms both have super comfy beds and the bed linens are all 400 Thread Count Egyptian Cotton; all designed to ensure you have a great night's sleep. The Master suite has a king-size bed and the second bedroom has 2 single beds. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, one has a walk-in shower and the other has a bath with a shower over. On the heated towel-rails you will find luxuriously thick Egyptian Cotton bath sheets and hand towels. Outdoors, as well as the private outdoor space, there is an acre of beautifully landscaped gardens which are ideal for picnics, ball games, walking the dog or just reading a book. There is private parking for up to two cars outside of the barn. The barn is perfect for couples and families alike. We have high-chairs and travel cots available for those with babies and toddlers and plenty of storage space in the bedrooms. We are also happy to welcome up to two well behaved medium-sized dogs. Our semi-enclosed garden area leads onto a very quiet lane, so is very dog-friendly. We have put a great deal of time, energy and love into ensuring the quality and finish of Hockings Green is first class. It really is a home from home!
