We welcome you to our family home in the heart of the purple Périgord. It is an ideal place to enjoy a relaxing holiday, to recharge your batteries but also to visit our beautiful region. We do not live on the property but we remain at your disposal if you need or to advise you. We will try to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible Enjoy your stay with us. The space The 95m2 house can accommodate 8 people. The accommodation is located on the first floor (the ground floor being the garage). Ability to access the floor with a stannah type armchair for people with walking difficulties (let us know at the time of your booking) It consists of: 3 bedrooms - 1 bedroom with a 160x190 motorized bed and an office space - 1 bedroom with a 140x190 bed and a water point - 1 bedroom with 2 bunk beds (i.e. 4 beds). there is an option to add an extra bed (but in this case the space will be restricted). Each room is equipped with a closet to store your belongings, extra blankets and a fan (the air conditioning is only in the main room) A fully equipped independent kitchen (ceramic hobs, oven, microwave, kettle, senseo coffee maker, classqiue coffee maker, dishwasher, fridge, dishes, cooking utensils) A bright, air-conditioned lounge-dining room with TV A large secure balcony with 1 garden furniture and sunbeds. A bathroom with walk-in shower Independent toilets. A garage with washing machine and possibility to bring in bicycles, motorcycles, trailer A private garden (you are alone on the property) with garden furniture, deckchairs, hammock, barbecue, children's games (gantry, baby swing, small slide, trampoline...) Please note, the garden is not fully fenced The house also has Wifi and is fully equipped with mosquito nets. The house is non-smoking (for smokers, there is the possibility of smoking on the balcony). The beds will be made upon your arrival. Children, regardless of their age, are welcome. All baby equipment can be provided free of charge upon request (crib, highchair, changing mat, bathtub, sunbed) Our animal friends are also welcome. Possibility to rent the toilet linen for an additional €20. The cleaning fee of €50 (€40 in case of cost of stay) is mandatory. It's already included in the rate applied by airbnb. To cool off in the summer, you can swim: - Lalinde outdoor pool (7 km drive) - Aqualud de bergerac (20 km) - Pombonne lake (20km away) - Lac de Neuf font (30 km away) - swimming in the Dordogne (plan shoes) at the Pont de Vicq au Buisson de Cadouin (23km) or Limeuil (25km) - Etangs du Bos in Saint Chamassy (30km) Our country house is ideally located for your sightseeing In our village of Lanquais you will find the castle, called the unfinished Louvre of Périgord 5 min to the small town of Lalinde with its bastide, its walks by the canal 25 min from the town of Bergerac with its old town, its gabarre walks 25 minutes from Monbazillac with its castle and wine 30 minutes from Le Bugue where you will find many activities (typical village of Bournat, aquarium, prehistoric labyrinth, tree climbing...) 45 minutes from the pretty town of Sarlat 45 minutes from Les Eyzies and its Cro-Magnon man You will also be close to many castles, caves, bastides, markets... You can also go canoeing on the Dordogne or Vézère, and try our local products... Hiking trails are located close to the house A great choice of activities is open to you and we will be happy to provide you with information if needed.
