Vacation home in Dordogne

We welcome you to our family home in the heart of the Purple Perigord. It's an ideal place to enjoy a relaxing vacation, recharge your batteries, and also visit our beautiful region. We don't live on the property, but we're there to help you if you need anything or to advise you. We will try to make your vacation as pleasant as possible Enjoy your stay with us. The space The 95 m2 house sleeps 8. The accommodation is situated on the first floor (the ground floor being the garage). Possibility to access the floor with a Stannah-type chair for people with walking difficulties (please specify this at the time of booking) It consists of: 3 Bedrooms - 1 bedroom with a 160 x 190 motorized bed and an office area - 1 bedroom with a 140 x 190 bed and a water point - 1 bedroom with 2 bunk beds (i.e. 4 beds). There is a possibility to add an extra bed (but in this case the space will be limited). Each room is equipped with a cupboard to store your belongings, extra blankets and a fan (air conditioning is only in the main room) A fully equipped independent kitchen (glass-ceramic stovetop, oven, microwave, kettle, Senseo coffee maker, classic coffee maker, dishwasher, fridge, dishes, cooking utensils) A bright, air-conditioned living-dining room with TV A large secure balcony with 1 garden furniture and deckchairs. Bathroom with walk-in shower Separate toilet. A garage with washing machine and possibility to store bicycles, motorcycles, trailer A private garden (you are alone on the property) with garden furniture, deckchairs, hammock, barbecue, children's games (gantry, baby swing, small slide, trampoline...) Please note that the garden is not fully fenced The house is also equipped with Wi-Fi and is fully equipped with mosquito nets. The house is non-smoking (for smokers, possibility to smoke on the balcony). The beds will be made upon your arrival. Children of all ages are welcome. All baby equipment can be provided free of charge upon request (baby bed, highchair, changing mat, bathtub, deckchair) Our animal friends are also welcome. Possibility to rent the towels for an additional €20. The cleaning fee of €60 (€50 in case of short stay) is mandatory. It is already included in the rate applied by Airbnb. To cool off in summer, you can swim: - Lalinde outdoor pool (7 km by car) - Aqualud de Bergerac (20 km away) - Lake Pombonne (20 km away) - Neuf font lake (30 km) - swimming in the Dordogne (bring shoes) at the Vicq bridge in Buisson de Cadouin (23 km) or Limeuil (25 km) - Etangs du Bos in Saint Chamassy (30 km) Our country house is ideally located for your sightseeing In our village of Lanquais, you will find the castle, called the unfinished Louvre of Périgord 5 min from the small town of Lalinde with its bastide, its walks along the canal 25 min from the town of Bergerac with its old town, its gabarre rides 25 min from Monbazillac with its castle and wine 30 min from Le Bugue where you will find many activities (typical village of Bournat, aquarium, prehistoric labyrinth, tree climbing...) 45 min from the pretty town of Sarlat 45 min from Les Eyzies and its Cro-Magnon man You will also be close to many castles, caves, bastides, markets... You can also go canoeing on the Dordogne or the Vézère, taste our local products... Hiking trails are located close to the house A wide range of activities is open to you and we will be happy to assist you if necessary.
