Cranberry Basecamp

Minutes from the Monongahela National Forest and walking distance to food and drinks, the basecamp is the perfect place to relax after a day of adventuring. Treat yourself to a soak in our refinished original clawfoot tub or a lounge near our gas fireplace while you listen to your favorite tunes on our antique radio turned bluetooth speaker. With sleeping arrangements for 6 and plenty of gear storage, we have room for the whole crew. The space You will have the whole basecamp to yourself for your stay! Inside the main floor you will find a fully equipped mudroom with storage for 6 large bikes, 6 fishing poles, a boot drying rack, and open shelving for additional gear. Also on the first floor is a sitting room with a gas fireplace and an antique-radio-turned-bluetooth-speaker. The first of two full bathrooms is on the main floor and has a large shower and a stacked washer/dryer available for your use. Upstairs you will find 3 guest rooms, each with a queen bed. The room to the left when you come up the stairs has a picture window with an amazing view of the sunrise each morning. You will also find the second full bathroom upstairs. This one boasts a refinished original clawfoot tub for warming up after a day of adventuring in the Cranberry Wilderness! The basecamp has a well-stocked kitchen with a full fridge, gas range/oven, microwave, dishwasher, and a toaster oven. Adjacent to the kitchen is one of two large dining/work spaces at the basecamp. The other dining/work space is in the sunroom where you will also find a seating area. There is an additional living area that has a TV with a Roku as well as two cots and linens for extra sleeping space. Just off of the sunroom you will find the deck that overlooks the back patio and garden. There is an outdoor gas firepit for your use on the patio. Also outside you will find a waterhose for cleaning of any equipment/gear. This is located on the left side of the house from the front. While the home is equipped to host 8 people, we think the perfect group size is 5-6. Guest access Guests have access to the entire home and property with the exception of a few storage closets. Feel free to explore during your stay. Other things to note We block our calendar a few months out. If you have a specific date that is further out on the calendar, message us and we can work with you to get it booked. We also primarily have weekend availability but if would like to book the basecamp for a longer stay, let us know and we will do what we can to accomodate you!
