With its quiet streets, parks, traditional bars and cozy atmosphere, Poble Sec represents an ideal place to visit the city. The space This apartment is located in a modernist style building from the early twentieth century, at the foot of Montjuic mountain, in the neighborhood of Poble Sec. It is newly furnished and decorated, and we have fully equipped to make you feel at home. With independent access from the street, it has two levels: At street level is the main living room with high ceilings and very bright, followed by a great open kitchen and a dining room with a table for up to ten people. At the back, a bedroom with a double bed and en-suite bathroom. At the top of the stairs we find another pleasant living room, which can be used as a bedroom thanks to a comfortable double sofa bed and an extra single bed, and a work area with a desk ready to work. Another double bedroom with 2 single beds and a second independent full bathroom complete the upper floor. To reserve a cot/s please contact us in advance. This New York style apartment with high ceilings and open spaces is perfect for trips with family, friends and / or work. Guest access The location is ideal. You will be very close to the Feria de Barcelona and Feria Gran Via (MWC), as well as concert venues such as the Olympic Stadium and the Palau Sant Jordi, on the mountain of Montjuic. From the apartment you can walk up to Montjuic, or walk along the Avenida Paral·lel, full of bars, terraces and theaters, to the statue of Columbus and the Ramblas (in only 15 minutes), and into the center of Barcelona. There will be no shortage of restaurants and stores. Just around the corner you will find Blai street (known as La Rambla de Poble Sec) full of bars and restaurants with terraces, and a wide gastronomic offer, also in the surrounding streets. Everything you need is within walking distance, supermarkets, laundromats and pharmacies. Even money exchange offices, ATMs and Tax Free points. Very close to the apartment there is a metro stop on the green line, which takes you to the train station and the center, and a D20 bus stop towards the beach. You can also use the system of bikes and motorcycles for rent by hours, and if you come by car, you can leave it on the street, paid parking areas (green and blue) or nearby parking at Calle del Poeta Cabanyes, 4. Other things to note Important aspects to consider: TOURIST TAX Since 2012, Catalan local administrations have mandated that every tourist over the age of 16 pay a small fee to stay in a hotel or rent an apartment in any area of Catalonia. This tax only applies to the first 7 nights of the stay. From 01/04/26, the tax will be 9,50€ per person and per night, for the tourist apartments (EB4) in Barcelona. This tax may increase throughout the year and always applies at the rate in force at the time of the stay, despite the when the reservation was made. Information on tourist taxes: Tax Agency of Catalonia The national and international police require each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, to send their identity documents or passport information. This is mandatory, as stated in Catalan law, and all legal tourist establishments are required to do so. You will receive all the details about the tourist taxes and the sending of identity documents or passports a few days before your arrival, and we will send you an application for the payment of the tourist taxes through the Airbnb platform (Resolution Center). ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE PROCEDURE 1. Arrival time is from 16h onwards. 2. Departure time is before 11:00h. HOUSE RULES 1. We only accept families, adult couples, business travelers or small groups of friends of legal age, responsible and committed to following the house rules. 2. Parties in the apartment are strictly prohibited. Nor stand at the door of the street as if it were a bar. The property has a noise device that alerts us when the usual noise levels are exceeded (the device does not record). The guest agrees to respect the residents of neighboring apartments and to avoid causing excessive noise at any time of the day. If there is any type of noise-related infraction after 9 p.m., it could result in not only a warning in person, but also a fine of 300 EUR and possible eviction. 3. Only people registered in the Airbnb reservation are allowed to stay in the apartment. 4. Respect the neighbors' hours of rest between 10 pm and 9 am. 5. Loss of keys will result in a charge of 200 EUR. 6. Pets are not allowed. 7. Smoking is strictly forbidden, not even in the interior gallery. 8. If the garbage bin is full, take it outside. There are dumpsters on the corner. 9. Please close the windows when using the air conditioner, and turn off the air conditioner when not in use. 10. Guests are fully responsible for any accident, injury or illness occurring while in the apartment or on the premises. 11. Please leave the apartment in respectable condition. 12. Any feedback about the property is welcome.
