Quiet Chalet with grand views & 15 min to city

Situated on a private 4ha rural property on the flanks of Mt Parakiore viewing the Whangarei Harbour, our new, stand-alone cottage is inviting guests to relax on the deck spotting our local Kahu flying by. Enjoy the fresh, modern interior with free Wi-Fi, smart TV, a laptop friendly space and a kitchenette with fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and Nescafe Dolce Gusto Coffee machine. Our tank water is filtered and ready to drink from the tap. The space Kahu's View is a single level studio with a wrap around deck where you can enjoy the view. There are 2 sets of stairs between parking and the cottage. Please see photos provided. Inside is a queen size bed, kitchen table and two dining chairs, two comfortable lounge chairs to relax in along with an ensuite bathroom with quality fixtures and a heated towel rail. The kitchenette with microwave allows you to prepare small meals. Please note, there is no cook top or oven. A light breakfast with tea and coffee, cereals / porridge, milk and our home made German soft prezels with butter is provided. Nescafe Dolce Gusto Coffee machine and capsules are free for you to use. Kahu's View is located just outside of Kamo, 5 minutes drive away, with its Restaurants, Four Square and take aways. Whanagrei city centre is a 15 min drive away with Hundertwasser Art Centre, the Town Basin and plenty of restaurants. The famous Northland beaches are within 30min drive. And if you like to swing some golf clubs, the Northland Colf Club is in walking distance. Guest access Guests can let themselves in with the lockbox and have the studio to themselves for the duration of their stay. Other things to note There is a basket for your recycables (plastic and glass bottles, cans and paper) on the deck. Please leave other rubbish in the house, I will take care of it.
