The space The villa has a capacity of 8 people, with a maximum of 6 adults. //Ideally located in the heart of the west coast: Ideally located in the heart of a seaside resort, Villa Astrea is 300m from the sea and just 8 minutes’ walk from one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, Trou d'Eau. With the sunshine, white sand, lagoon and coral reefs, this family villa really is a very privileged place to stay. Villa Astrea is located in a very quiet residential area. Less than 1.5km away you will find a number of local services, such as a bakery, wine dealer, restaurants, supermarket, tobacconist's, post office, pharmacy and a medical centre. On Sunday mornings, why not sample the local flavours at the Ermitage food market, just 7 minutes’ drive away. And thanks to the proximity of the Route des Tamarins (just 10 minutes by car), the main highway running over the west coast, you can easily reach the whole island. In less than 15 minutes by car, you can visit the Mascarin National Botanical Conservatory, the Stella Matutina Museum and the Kélonia Marine Turtle Observatory. You can also go paragliding, scuba diving, deep-sea fishing, dolphin safaris, play golf and eat in very good restaurants, such as the highly reputed Blue Margouillat, the only Relais & Châteaux classified establishment on the island. //The villa’s interior: This splendid villa of 180 m² has high quality fittings. It opens out onto the garden, and you can admire either the sea or the mountains from every room. Its refined decor features works by artists from Reunion, France, but also from Thailand and Bali. The villa boasts a large living area complete with a cosy lounge and an open kitchen. Facing the ocean, the lounge area is equipped with a flat screen TV, a portable speaker and of course Wi-Fi internet access. Overlooking the garden, the kitchen is fully equipped. And thanks to the high quality bedding and household linen in the main suite and in the three air-conditioned bedrooms, you’ll sleep like a baby. There is also a bathroom with bath, shower and double washbasin, as well as a separate toilet and hand basin. The main suite is totally independent, with its own shower room and toilet. A laundry area with washing machine and dishwasher is also available. //The villa’s exterior: Villa Astrea boasts a truly idyllic setting, with several areas to host guests: a spacious terrace with its dining table and welcoming lounge. The 9.5 m x 4.5 m swimming pool features a luxurious 180° view of the Indian Ocean (the villa faces west). At the back, in the heart of the tropical garden under the covered terrace, you will be able to cook up your favourite meals in the outdoor kitchen, using either a wood fire, gas stove or a griddle. The villa is secure, complete with fence and access gate. It is possible to park two cars within the fence.
