Old farmhouse above the little town of Dogliani in the very heart of the Langhe, famous wine area, UNESCO world heritage since 2014. lovely hills and high snowy mountain tops, castles,ancient villages, lively towns,markets and festivals of all kind. This simple old farmhouse with its large porticato with three arches has been a "love at first sight". It is situated on a hill with marvellous view over hills, vineyards, hazeltrees and villages and the chain of the alps including Monviso. Very quiet place, only a very few houses in the neighbourhood. Inside the house we have modernized electricity, bathroom and heating system, but saved old structures and furniture as far as possible. The living space, all on the first floor, is composed of a kitchen with table and chairs, living room with 2 sofas (can be 2 extra beds), bathroom with shower and a double bedroom. (on request at some times 2 more double bedrooms and 1 bathroom are available). All rooms have a window towards the garden and a door that opens to the porticato, our preferred living space with its high roof made of old wooden beams, the open arches facing South, tables and comfortable chairs inviting to relax, read, sunbath or have a joyful lunch or dinner. Behind the house there is a meadow with a few fruit trees and another table with chairs, so you can choose shade or sunshine at any time of the day. You will need a car to go around and visit the many beautiful old villages, castles and chapels, to explore markets, restaurants, wine tastings, folkloristic festivals and cultural events of all kind. The mediterranean coast (Liguria) is 60km away, see Savona, Noli, Albenga, Genova... 70 km North you arrive in Turin.
