Located in prime position at Point Turton, Bay House is a fully self-contained beachfront holiday home, with uninterrupted coastal views. Bay House has 3 bedrooms – king, queen, 2 x bunks; sleeping up to 8 people. Quilts and pillows are provided, but guests will need to bring their linen (sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats & tea-towels) with them for their stay. There is one bathroom with a bath, separate shower & toilet; and an additional toilet located near the laundry. Bay House has reverse cycle split system air-conditioning in the lounge, with ceiling fans in the living area, king & queen bedrooms and in the bunk bedroom is a pedestal fan. The living area is spacious and comprises the kitchen, dining & lounge, with direct access to the large outdoor deck and bar area, with seaviews across to the beach. In the lounge room is lounge seating with views over the outdoor deck, and a large television with USB & HDMI ports, DVD player, radio, and books. Guests staying at Bay House have access to the complimentary WiFi. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric stove, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge with freezer on top, rain water, and Nespresso coffee machine. The nearby outdoor kitchen & bar has a bar fridge, sink, storage and bar stool seating, and is accessible from the house and the deck. The laundry is equipped with a front load washing machine, iron & ironing board. Outside, guests can enjoy the views from the undercover deck at the front of the house with direct beach access. There is outdoor seating and dining, a hooded gas barbecue and the outdoor kitchen/bar area opens up to the deck for easy access and entertaining. Pets are welcome inside at Bay House; just let the Country Getaways staff know you will be bringing a pet for your stay, along with the age and breed of your pet. For those coming to fish, Point Turton has an all-weather boat ramp which offer multi-lane launching and pontoon access, or the jetty has great fishing opportunities. There is off-street parking for up to 2 vehicles at Bay House. Bay House is located an easy walk to the Point Turton General Store, which has supplies, bakery items and take-away available. The Point Turton nature playground and bike track is just a few minutes' walk away and is a great spot for kids of all ages to enjoy. Nearby Warooka is a short drive away for shopping, including a supermarket, chemist and hardware store. THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU ARRIVE: All properties are fully self-contained; however personal requirements and consumables are not supplied. Whilst some properties may have minimal quantities of toilet paper, washing powders & detergents, and soap; it is expected that guests will bring their own items for the length of their stay. Generally, nothing is provided in the way of food items. Guests need to bring their own tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper and other food stuffs.
