You will enjoy your stay here! The space We fell in love with this home because its coziness and flexibility to allow guests to spread around. Our mornings were typically spent in the fantastic sunroom which has a futon, a cute coffee/tea table for two, and a laptop work station on warmer days. The room has wonderful views of mature trees at the front, and a vibrant garden in the spring and summer. Open the windows and front door to let the scent of roses and other flowers in. The futon can be opened to sleep two during warmer days. We have an extra space heater and a heated blanket for cooler nights in the fall. The space is not usable during winter time. The living room is charming, colorfully decorated, and has an additional reading nook with a small library where you might find an interesting read. The sofa in this space can be used as a single bed when needed. There are two loveseat sofas for extra seating and a rug that can only be enjoyed barefoot. The dining room has a bay window that lets in tons of light and gives you a great view of the garden. Off of the dining room is an open shelving full kitchen. It's a colorful space and has everything you need to prepare meals. There is a designated coffee/tea station with lots of choices for loose tea lovers, and a Keurig for coffee. Small appliances for adventurists sandwich/quesadilla maker are also available. In addition to snacks and breakfast items, we keep a dry and fresh food emergency pantry for our guests. During the summer months, when our organic garden is ready, you can always step outside and pick fresh herbs and vegetables. The guest bedroom is serene with soothing colors and a comfy queen size bed, dresser, luggage rack, laundry basket, linens, and toiletries. Guests can access a washer and dryer in the basement. We always used a separate room in the basement to watch TV. It's available for guests who wish to hang out there and binge watch their favorite shows, but recently added one in the main bedroom. The shower room is on the small size yet has the feel of high end. What it lacks in size makes up in charm and functionality. Finally, right outside the kitchen, there is a large screened-in porch with comfortable seating and a great view of the garden. On warmer days, pour yourself a drink, soak in the sun, write, read, or just do nothing but enjoy the cross breeze and bird songs. Guest access Guests can access the entire property except for the garage which is currently used for storage. Other things to note Our house is charming, perfect for a solo traveler, a couple, or a few friends (no more than 4) looking for a quiet place to hang out or unwind after a busy day.
