Having lived in the Sommiérois for over 30 years, I have had the pleasure of hosting guests for 10 years now. My goal: to offer you an authentic, comfortable and carefree stay. The space 📍 An ideal location between nature, heritage and the Mediterranean Located in Sommières, a beautiful medieval village with a rich Roman past, you will be immersed in a warm and festive atmosphere. Enjoy: • the large traditional market on Saturday mornings, • the night market in summer every Wednesday, • Camargue races, local festivals, entertainment in the arenas... The gîte is steps away from the vineyards and the surrounding countryside, while being less than a 10-minute walk from the historic center and all shops (supermarket, bakery, restaurants, butcher, cafés...). You can also easily explore the area: • 30 min from the Mediterranean beaches (Grau-du-Roi, La Grande Motte, etc.), • 40 minutes from Nîmes and Montpellier, • 10 min from the A9 motorway (Lunel exit). 🎒 The surroundings are full of activities for all tastes: hiking, via ferrata, wine tastings, bamboo grove, caves, canoeing, horseback riding, tree climbing, Haribo museum, Pont du Gard, Cévennes National Park, mountain biking, Salins du Midi, etc. 🏠 The Gîte – Comfort and tranquility for 4 people This independent 39 m² cottage, located on the ground floor of my house, is fully equipped for a comfortable stay: • Bright living room with equipped kitchen: stove, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, utensils, dishes... • Two air-conditioned bedrooms with double beds (140 cm) • Bathroom and separate WC • TV, Wi-Fi (fiber optic), Ethernet cable, vacuum cleaner, iron/ironing board • Linens and towels provided Guest access 🌿 Shared exteriors – Relaxation, leisure and conviviality Enjoy a green and friendly outdoor area: • Large swimming pool (9 x 5.5 m, max depth: 1.70 m) • Deckchairs, gas barbecue, plancha • Tree-lined garden with fountain and fish • Children's area (cabin, slide, swing) • Petanque court with balls provided • Ping pong table with rackets • Washing machine and dryer 🅿️ Parking is easy: free public parking within 30 meters, equipped with charging stations for electric vehicles. 📬 Want to know more?
