Gold Finch is situated at the perfect level of our property, resulting in breathtaking views of the Himalayas and the valley. It is a Duplex tastefully designed in French Gite style with mezzanine. It has authentic Kumaoni mud walls and wood work throughout. There are 2 double beds upstairs and a large living area downstairs with a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. There is a open fire-place downstairs and 2 small open fireplace upstairs. There is also a patio outside with stone seating area. The space Snow Finch Duplex Cottage is in the beautiful valley of Balta Badi, over the ridge from Paparsali. It is located four kilometers from Almora on the Binsar Road. As one walks over the ridge, the breathtaking sight of the Majestic Himalayas also comes into view. We are a 5 minute walk down the valley, along a concrete path. Porters will be available to carry luggage if required. A short stroll leads you to the guest house which is surrounded by beautiful flora and fauna, the accommodation is a pure paradise with the offerings of urban living. Each room has wooden floors & Kumaoni mud walls surrounded by landscape garden from all sides. The rooms have attached bathroom with hot & cold water supply and a tea/coffee maker. It is a perfect spot for birdwatchers, meditators and artists. All transport, food and shopping can be arranged so that there is nothing for you to do but to enjoy nature. They have an in-house two storey restaurant connected by a wooden staircase; one can cook themselves in the fully stocked kitchen or have meals catered to you by the family. To keep the stay Covid-19 safe, right now we are taking extra on hygiene care and preferring long term guest (More than a month stay).
