In the summer months' big wave season, you can see the waves breaking from the lighthouse. I'm usually in the house to guide you on places to visit in the Puerto Escondido area. We're located in Brisa de Zicatela, the eastern part of Puerto Escondido. This neighborhood is where locals, tourists, and foreign residents mix. The house is located 6 blocks from the beach, we have small restaurants and shops around On the corner and two blocks away, there is a bus service and shared taxis that can take you to Playa Zicatela (5 minutes) and the other beaches (10 minutes), the supermarket, and the main market. Therefore, outside sounds from other guests, wild birds, roosters, and dogs can be heard inside the cabins. To make sure you get a good night's sleep, we offer earplugs if you're a light sleeper. The last flight of stairs in this cabin is a bit steep, so if you have any physical problems, we recommend using our garden cabins. Hot water is not necessary in Puerto Escondido so we don't have it.
