Description

The space up to 6 bed places in a tiny apartment, perfect for skiing and spending the evening together. 1 room with door and double bed 1 living room with double bed - from a sofa. Not superb, but can fit two adults 1 castle bed with two single bed places. 1 kitchen All this is next to the funicular house in Breuil Cervinia, the upper most town in the valley. Starting at 2050 metres, your skiing holiday will be great. 30 metres from the funicular to Plain Maison and Plateau Rosa, you can reach Zermatt on your skies or... just sun bathe up in Plain Maison, or enjoy time with your kids and ice skating, ski courses, town life in the center of Cervinia 1 bathroom The whole apartment, plus the play room, cleaning room and garage. House is all yours, will arrange meeting for checkin and checkout. Might evaluate a key box at some point. Travel to Zermatt passing by Plateau Rosa! There are 20 lifts in Cervinia and 34 in Zermatt, serving up 160km of Italian pistes and 200km of Swiss ones, joined up into a shared ski area via Plateau Rosa. But buying a joint Cervinia/Zermatt pass costs £100 less if you buy it in Cervinia than it does in Zermatt, and you can pass freely between the two resorts. So how is it staying on the Italian side? Cervinia’s slopes are mostly suitable for intermediates, with few tough slopes. Zermatt offers more variety and that great view of the Matterhorn but you won’t want to make the trip across Plateau Rosa every day as it’s time-consuming. Still, there are bonuses in Italy – on our visit, we were treated to 10cm of fresh pow with no competition for first tracks. In busier Zermatt, there’d be a bun fight. Lunch in Italy is worth a detour from the slopes for everyone, including folks staying in Zermatt, despite a less dramatic view of the iconic mountain – called Cervino on this side. Not only are restaurants cheaper, but menus also feature fresh pasta, tasty salads and local Aosta Valley specialities. Our favourite pitstop was Chalet Etoile. Busses to major cities Not allowed to walk into the house with ski boots. Central heating, included. Registration Details IT007071C2ZRBEBBYA
